keoladeo national park: – The world heritage site Keoladeo Ghana National Park is under Ramsar Convention site. The other name of the park is Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Though Rajasthan has dry lands, it also has agricultural fields surrounding the Keoladeo Park. Even it has ancient flavors of Siberian Crane and stone- masonry well. The bird sanctuary has a wide range of fauna and Indian Wildlife.

As the monsoon starts from July to September, the sanctuary has flooded about 1-2 m. Only from October, the water drains out and finally, February is the month the land becomes dry.

There may be a slow transition in birds as the water level resides completely in a dry month. As the land is wet during the monsoon, it seems to be a ground for mosquitoes. The best visit time is from August to November.
