Our motto is to maintain the highest standards of service as that is the foundation we stand on. Also, the Guests need to understand the scope, limitations, and responsibilities of our Terms & Conditions. If you book with us, you must agree to abide by these terms and conditions for a better journey.
1. Applicability of the Rules
- The Terms & Conditions of CDI apply to all tours organized under the CDI brand name.
- They are effective for all the time until further modification directed by CDI.
- All the details along with the itineraries, registration forms, and other updates are published on CDI’s official website.
2. Definitions
- To avoid any kind of confusions, the following terms are defined by CDI:
- Guest/s – Guests are all those people in whose name the booking is made with CDI.
- The independent contractors arranged for the tour for any guest are appointed by CDI and they are not employees or partners of CDI.
- A tour leader is a professional representative appointed by CDI to guide, assist, and coordinate services during the tour.
- The circumstances that are unforseen are beyond CDI’s reasonable control such as:
- Natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, terrorism, transport cancellations, technical failures, abnormal weather conditions, or other unforeseen disruptions.
- All the food arrangements will be done as per the tour schedule. Vegetarian and Jain food (without onion/garlic, possibly without root vegetables) will be provided subject to local availability.
- A credit note that may be used for future tour bookings is non-transferable & non-encashable.
- Rescheduling charges can be demanded due to administrative and operational changes in case of rescheduling tours.
3. Scope of Services
- CDI acts as a service coordinator and carefully selects the hotels, transport, airlines, guides etc. for the guest’s comfort.
- CDI does not have direct control over the operation of these services and tries to deliver the best.
CDI shall not be liable for:
- Delay, injury, illness, death, loss or damage caused by Independent Contractors.
- Changes in itinerary due to unforeseen reasons.
- Loss of valuables, baggage mishandling, or missed connections is beyond CDI’s control.
- CDI will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly in the interest of guests, but certain matters may remain outside its scope. So, the guests will have to understand.
4. Responsibilities of Guests
Guests must:
- Carefully read, understand and accept these Terms & Conditions before booking.
- Carry valid travel documents (passport, visa, insurance, vaccination certificates, etc.) as required.
- Follow tour schedules, timings, instructions given by the Tour Leader/Manager.
- Respect local customs, laws and regulations of visiting countries.
- Ensure timely payments and submission of documents required for bookings.
- Guests are expected to check communications sent by CDI via email, SMS, or official website for updates, reminders, or changes.
5. Cancellation, Refunds & Credit Notes
- Cancellation of bookings will attract cancellation charges as per CDI’s policy, depending on the tour and the time of cancellation.
- Refunds, if any, will be processed after deduction of applicable cancellation charges, taxes, and service fees.
- Instead of a refund, Guests may receive a Credit in account that will be valid for future tour bookings within a specified period.
6. Tour Itinerary & Operations
- Itineraries mentioned in brochures/website are indicative and subject to change due to local conditions, availability, or Force Majeure.
- A “tour day” may mean a part of the day depending on the travel schedule.
- Orientation Tours (city sightseeing with a guide) may have limited stops depending on permissions and season.
- Panoramic views and sightseeing inclusions are subject to weather and operational feasibility.
7. Liability Limitations
CDI shall not be held responsible for:
- Acts, negligence, or default of Independent Contractors.
- Delays, cancellations, loss of personal belongings, accidents or health-related issues during travel.
- Costs arising due to changes in travel plans caused by unforeseen events.
- Guests are advised to take adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, cancellations, and baggage loss.
8. General Conditions
- CDI reserves the right to amend, revise or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available on the official website.
- All Guests registering for a tour shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions by CDI.
- Each clause of these Terms & Conditions is independent. If any clause is declared invalid, the remaining clauses shall continue to remain effective.
- CDI is committed to delivering safe, transparent and memorable travel experiences while maintaining clarity and fairness in all our operations.
