Day 1

After the guest arrives at the railway station, you should complete all the registration formalities to check-in. Our representative will welcome the guest warmly with a welcome drink. You will reach the first destination Sawai Madhopur as the train departs you. You will be taken to your hotel where you can relax and have your dinner. You can stay overnight there.

Day 2

Start your day with a hearty breakfast, and then head to Ranthambore National Park for an exciting jungle safari. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot tigers, deer, crocodiles, and a variety of birds—making it perfect for a quick wildlife photoshoot.

Afterwards, return to the train for a relaxing lunch. Later in the afternoon, set out to explore a nearby village, where you’ll experience authentic Rajasthani folk culture and warm local hospitality. In addition, enjoy a peaceful tea break at the historic Sawai Madhopur Lodge, soaking in the charming heritage ambiance.

As the evening approaches, return to the Deccan Odyssey to unwind with a drink and delicious dinner. Finally, the train departs for Agra, and you’ll spend the night onboard, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3

Arrive in Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and architectural brilliance built by Shah Jahan in 1632. After breakfast onboard, explore this world-famous monument.

Enjoy lunch at a city hotel, then visit the elegant Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, also known as the Baby Taj, built by Nur Jahan for her father. Later, explore the historic Agra Fort, dating back to the 11th century.

Return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner. The train departs in the evening. Overnight onboard.

Day 4

On Day 4, you’ll arrive in Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, known for its rich history and stunning architecture. After enjoying a delightful breakfast onboard, first, you’ll head to the majestic Amber Fort.

Built during the 16th century, the fort is famous for its intricate mirror work, semi-precious stones, detailed carvings, and stunning jali windows. Interestingly, these jalis were designed so royal women could observe the busy streets without being seen. Moreover, the fort’s design, with its comb-like window collection, reflects classic Rajput architecture.

Later, enjoy a delicious lunch at a city hotel. In the evening, return to the train. Afterward, you can relax and unwind. Finally, dinner will be served onboard as the Deccan Odyssey continues its journey. Stay overnight onboard for a comfortable rest.

Day 5

This morning your train will reach the city of lakes in Udaipur. It is one of the romantic backdrops. Have a peaceful mind by visiting this place. Have a refreshing breakfast onboard. After this, process go-ahead for the city palace.

It is the largest palace in the Rajasthan and the most popular aspect of the crystal palace. The next place you are going to Jagmandir. It is the palace of the 17th century where the views are more spectacular.

Day 6

This 7 night 8 days package will precede you to Champaner-Pavagadh Archeological Park after having breakfast in the morning. After visiting this place, you can have your wonderful time in this area. After this, return to Deccan Odyssey for lunch.

In the Laxmi Vilas Palace, you will be arranged for high-tea. You can relax by enjoying the cultural folk dance performance held in that place. Return to the train and have lunch, and have a luxury overnight onboard.

Day 7

You will reach the history of Mughal city, which is named after the great ruler of Mughal. Have a mouth-watery breakfast in the morning and have a spa and indoor games to relax yourself. In the afternoon, the train will reach Aurangabad. So, have lunch and proceed for Ellora cave.

This cave is the world heritage site, and it comprises 34 rock-cut shrines representing Hindu, Jain art, and Buddhist. This cave dated back before the 4th and 5th-century ad, as per the historians. Return back to the Deccan odyssey after visiting the Ellora cave. Have dinner and overnight stay onboard.

Day 8

Have a lovely treat in the morning at the train station at Mumbai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station. After this, the guest will continue their onward journey.
