Darjeeling & Gangtok Tour Package: On the first day of the trip, our representative will receive you at Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Our journey towards Darjeeling (6700 ft) will starts from here which will take around an hour. After reaching check into the hotel and get ready for sightseeing after taking some rest. Darjeeling is a gorgeous hill station, which is well-known for its attractive Himalayan channels and extensive tea estates. You can witness the beauty of place via vintage train (famous toy train). Our overnight stay will be done here itself.

Begin your day two adventure by visiting the top point of Darjeeling, Tiger Hill. From Tiger Hill, you’ll be able to witness the breathtaking view of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga peak. To truly appreciate the beauty of the snow, it’s best to visit early in the morning. Tiger Hill is approximately eleven kilometers from Darjeeling city.

After descending from the hill, we will head to Batasia Loop and the Ghoom Monastery. The Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest in Darjeeling, is about seven kilometers from the main town. It is famous for its gigantic statue of Lord Buddha.

Next, we will explore several other attractions in the town, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Peace Pagoda, Lebong Race Course, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (TRSHC), Ropeway, Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological Park, and Tensing-Gumbo Rock. You will also have the opportunity to visit various tea estates in the area.

Finally, we will return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy a restful overnight stay as part of the Darjeeling and Gangtok Tour Package.

On day three our trail will move forward towards Gangtok, so check out from hotel early in the morning after having breakfast. Gangtok is a spiritual and gorgeous hill station in the North-Eastern Himalayas. Located between dense forests, Gangtok houses various eye-striking monasteries. The drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok will take around 2 and half hours. Check in and relax in your hotel and explore the local attractions of the place in the evening. Our overnight stay will be done in Gangtok itself.

On day four of the Darjeeling and Gangtok Tour Package, our tour guide will lead you on a sightseeing adventure in the Gangtok area after breakfast. First, we will visit two renowned monasteries in Gangtok: Rumtek and Enchey Monastery, beginning the day on a spiritual note. The Enchey Monastery, believed to have been built around 200 years ago, is an important site in Tibetan Buddhism’s Nyingma Order. Meanwhile, the Rumtek Monastery is open to all and houses remnants of the sixteenth Karmapa.

Afterward, you will have the opportunity to visit other highlights, such as Chorten and Orchid Sanctuary, the Research Institute of Tibetology, and the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms. Following a day full of exploration, we will return to the hotel in the evening. There, you can enjoy a delicious dinner and rest well for the night.

On day five of the trip, after enjoying breakfast, we will visit the famous Glacial Lake, Tsomgo Lake, as well as the Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is approximately 38 kilometers from Gangtok and is renowned for its picturesque beauty. As we travel along the rugged, hilly Gangtok-Nathula highway, we will reach the lake. Tsomgo Lake holds sacred importance, and beside its banks, there is a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend some time soaking in the serene beauty of the site.

Next, we will head towards the nearby Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. This unique shrine is dedicated to Major Harbhajan Singh, an army martyr, and holds significant religious importance among the local army personnel and residents. Located at an elevation of approximately 4,000 meters, it offers a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

In the evening, we will drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay. Additionally, you will have the option to visit the local markets in Sikkim, adding a local touch to your Darjeeling & Gangtok Tour Package.
